Energy and offshore wind
Energy and offshore wind
Energy sites are large, exposed and rarely quiet. Signage has to be legible at distance, survive a coastal environment and go up without interrupting the operation underneath it.
Scale first
Building identification on a manufacturing hall is read from a road or a river, so it is specified for viewing distance rather than wall space.
Coastal exposure
Substrate, coating and fixing are chosen for salt, wind and UV, because the replacement cycle on an exposed elevation is what actually costs money.
Live industrial sites
Installation is planned around plant movements, permits and site inductions, with site-specific RAMS issued before mobilisation.
